STEP RIGHT UP! FREAKSHOW is the greatest show on earth*. This event was conducted and promoted by myself as a result of lack of alternative spaces for people in CT to be unapologetically themselves. FREAKSHOW incorporates everyone in the spectrum of a ‘Freak’, unconventional weirdos in society to promiscuous people. My carnival-entine’s day spectacular was focused around love and lust, with a center of circus iconography. Art Vendors! Oddities! Smut! Drag Performers! Burlesque! Tattoos! Tarot! We had it ALL under one big top.

CLOWNIN’ AROUND

Over 1,000 freaks and geeks celebrated with us. The success of this event made it incredibly apparent there was a need for creative punk spaces. The most consistent feedback was about the mass amounts of LOVE in the room, you could feel it! My goals were to inspire others to create the spaces they want to see around them.
